Terry Letson Terry's love for cooking started early in life. Coming from a blended family of eight children, Terry's initial interest in cooking stemmed from survival and emerged into passion. Beginning his restaurant career as a dishwasher at the age of 15, Terry has worked every position in the business. His early experiences were in the front of the house waiting tables, bar tending and managing before attending Epicurean Cooking School in Los Angeles.

Terry has owned two successful restaurants and a boutique wine shop in Southern California. Tiring of the smog and traffic, Terry packed up his belongings and headed off on an around-the-world back packing trip before landing in wine country four years ago. He has spent the last four years learning the style and standards of the prestigious Napa Valley. Terry has worked at several great restaurants including Domaine Chandon, Bistro Don Giovanni and Deuce while looking for the perfect place for his next restaurant.

Terry's many experiences culminate in the creation of fumé Bistro & Bar. fumé Bistro is an American Bistro that is all about really good food, always seasonally correct, great service and a comfortable seat.
